still life with scrap metal
Along the Jurassic coast at Lyme Regis in Dorset there are occasional collections of scrap metal, having no doubt fallen from an old town dump on the hills above. I took this photograph in 2020 while scouring the rocks in search of images. The corroded objects were not exactly the fossils I was hoping to find, but even so they were a record of the past. They struck me as being oddly beautiful.
